I’ve some extra 1911 top end parts that I was going to save back for other projects, but for one reason or another, I’m just loosing interest in these particular parts.
If you click on this LINK
, you can view a photo album that has more pictures of each of these items.
I’ve a short list of parts I’d trade for if you’ve some extra junk laying around.
I could use:
Colt OACP steel frame, non-enhanced, blue.
Colt Commander slide, non-enhanced, blue.
Kart or BarSto barrels (Gov’t or Commander).
Quality base guns, such as a S70 or reissue.Colt Gov’t Length AMTU Slide $175 SOLD
This Colt AMTU slide is pretty cool, but it will take some work to get it ready for a build. I really like the looks of the round top and angled cocking serrations. If it had commercial roll marks on the left side instead of a NSN, I’d probably keep it.
I think it still has the extractor, firing pin and stop installed.TRIANGLE AMTU Rear Sight $45 SOLD
This is the sight that was used on the AMTU guns. This one actually came off of the Colt AMTU slide listed above.IMI AMTU “Hard Slide” $175
This is a late 1980s- early 1990s production IMI hardslide for the AMTU. This one is brand new, never having been fitted. Great looking slide, especially if you were to surface grind the markings off, leaving a lot of room for a custom builders logo.Colt Commercial Gov’t Top End $300 SOLD
This was a take off unit from an earlier Commercial Gov’t Model. It is complete.Colt Gov’t GI Slide $150 SOLD
This is a NOS, never fitted, still in grease GI Gov’t Model Slide. Roll marks are just like most GI slides, a bit off center and not even. It looks like a parkerized finish, grease in all the corners.Les Baer Commanche Length Slide $225
This is a brand new, never fitted LB Commanche length slide made of Stainless Steel.
If it was blue, I’d keep it. This was for a CCO type project that I have since decided to go with blue steel on. It is in great shape, perfect for building on. I really like the round top and fine forward angled cocking serrations. No rollmarks, no Les Baer logo.Chip McCormick Gov’t Model Slide $250
This is a virgin slide that I had contemplated using until I decided to go with a blue gun. This one was sent of to Yost-Bonitz, where the did it up, including serrating the top. The sight cuts are for a Heinie, flats are polished.IMI National 5” Match Barrel/Bushing
This barrel and bushing combination was packaged with the IMI AMTU slide pictured above. It has not been fitted, the hood is oversized, the feet untouched. Bushing to barrel fit is very nice. I think IMI must do something right, as the chamber and bore look like a first surface mirror.Colt Service Model 22LR Conversion Units $500/both
There are actually two units for sale here. The first one is complete, no magazine, and the box is missing the lid. The second one is basically a slide, barrel, and floating chamber. I don’t think I have very many other parts for it. Both look pretty good, but I’m just not interested in having a factory flattopped slide fit to any of my guns. If these were round top, I’d consider having one of these fitted up in my next build. All of the parts shown in the pictures will be included for the $500.
Thanks for looking!
