Weber calls this the FT-600.
I picked it up on a whim, then did research on it. The cover I got with it sells for $200 alone.
The grill is in nice shape (I just cleaned it--the previous owner had just stored it). The only visible problems are two loose igniter wires from the 3 ignitors (easily fixed) and the hub caps on the wheels are gone ($3 part). Stainless burners are excellent, grills, flavorizor bars are good, no visible rust.
I contacted Weber, and parts are still available for this grill--only a few frame pieces are not currently available (this is basically a 6 Burner Summit grill with a flat top--the work surfaces slide outwards to expose the grill surface instead of a large dome lid. The manual is Copywrited 1996, so the model has been discontinued for a while.
Great for HUGE quantities of burgers, steaks, chicken, etc...
Not something you can roast in (as it doesn't have the dome lid). It comes with 2 grills and one Griddle (one side smooth, the other raised), but you can get more of either from Weber or other sources....
This is perfect for someone who has large groups over, or for something like a firehouse, Elks, Club, etc.... You can cook for lots of people on this quickly and easily.
Would also work for a small restaurant/bar.
Has a pair of carry handles on each side (along with the wheels and castors), so 2 people can lift it into and out of a truck easily.
Has a hanger system for a 20 lb propane tank that shows how full it is.
Typical Weber quality (and service if parts are ever needed).
I can provide pictures to interested parties***Pics Below*****.
$600/OBO (new, these things ran $1200 + $200 for the cover) will consider trades for Guns.
***Hey, guys, I will pay a finder's fee of 10% for you if you get someone that might be interested in this grill (and buys it, naturally) in touch with me--Payable when I get $$ for the grill*** I'm giving this a couple more days here, then posting it on Ebay.
I seriously thought about keeping this, but realize there is no way in hell I'm going to get it into my basement to store (I don't need this big a grill myself).
--Coke Can Added for Size comparison.
I listed this on EBay. Have to Pull the Ad here..
Sorry guys, gave it several days to see if someone here wanted it....
