SOLD- Someone's gonna go all tac'ed out now, beyatch!
Yup, I'm calling it tactical now. I met a gun dealer last night and mentioned that I was having trouble moving this handgun. He gave me some advice:
"Mike, here's a little secret that's worked for us dealers. It's time you learn about it also. Take ANY gun and remove the perfectly good wood stock or grips. Sell the wooden stuff on eBay for more than what the factory charges. Replace them with some aftermarket squishy thing-- ANYTHING so long as it's BLACK. Put "TACTICAL" on the sales tag and mark it up 75%-- they'll be beating down your door! One other thing- say it's BANNED IN CALIFORNIA. I don't know if it's banned there, you don't know if it's banned there... Hell, even the Californians
don't even know if it's banned there! Just remember that "BANNED IN CALIFORNIA" makes it sound more badass-- and it's probably not legal there anyhow.
...now get me another beer."
This Blackhawk already had a squishy grip already on it-- and the grip's black, so why the hell not? I won't even mark it up (much)!
I'm trying to sell this TACTICAL Ruger New Model Blackhawk .357 magnum (BANNED IN CALIFORNIA!). It's a stainless gun with a 6.5" barrel. The TACTICAL grip is a Hogue grip. This firearm was sent to Ruger and all the internals were replaced with completely new parts. The Ruger factory also completely cleaned and refinished (buffing for stainless steel) the gun-- and they did good enough that I could probably call it NIB if I didn't mind lying about the gun's history. (My dealer friend says that's a more advanced sales technique I can learn after getting these TACTICAL BANNED IN CALIFORNIA! lessons down pat.) I'll advertise this Blackhawk as LNIB refinished, 98% with box and papers. Pics are available below. I'll be glad to take more pictures if these don't show you want you want to see!
100% of this money is going to help me afford a Class III SOT (five hundred big ones). I'm asking
OBO. Shipping is a flat
bucks to anyplace in the USA where legal. (I'll even eat part of the shipping costs!)
Oh, yeah... BANNED IN CALIFORNIA!
So, here are some pics:
Picture #1: The Blackhawk, box, new gun bag, and papers
Picture #2: The gun in the bag, out of the box, with papers
Picture #3: Just the pistol facing right-- check out the TACTICAL grip and the eeeevil angled shot..!
Picture #4: Just the Blackhawk facing left. Again, soooooo TACTICAL! You know you want it.....
Thanks much- please pass this along to anyone who might be interested. (It'd cover
of my upcoming $500.00 bill!)
