This is a Reminton 870 Express Magnum.
The shotgun was first sent to Hans Vang www.vangcomp.com/
for him to back bore the barrel (back boring forces the cone pattern and reduces recoil), (8" groups at 25 yds are shown on the Vangcomp website using 00 buck.)
(this thing with 3.5" mag shells or slugs is a pussycat) and install the MMC sights, (Tritium bar rear and Tritium dot front)
(front is silver soldered, rear is drilled and tapped).
Hans also installed his big head safety, a high visibility anti cant self lubricating follower and Wolff spring.
Hans also did a nice trigger job and also installed a Hogue stock (soft pebble textured grip) that was cut down to 13", and added a Pachmyer decellerator butt pad to that.
The shotgun was then sent to Wilson Combat www.wilsoncombat.com/
were they added a 2 round extension tube and then finished it in
O.D. green Armor Tuff, and gray Armor Tuff to the internals.
Wilson then sent the shotgun to Innovative Weaponry so they could install tritium in the front sight.
I installed the Surefire light (w/ momentary pad and on off switch) after applying grip tape to the underside surface.
I also added a GG&G single point sling plate, side saddle carrier, buttstock carrier (London Bridge trading) and Wilson Combat sling, all included.
The shotgun has the anti-jam internals from Remington, this allows for extraction of over expanded shells, they add this to all of their duty shottys.
Shotgun is in 98% condition shot very little, maybe 100 rds.
No scratches on exterior, minor scratches on bolt and rails.
This is basically a Standard model from Wilson PLUS...
Trigger job, (Long shots with slugs are manageable).
Different stock, cut down and Pachmayer pad installed.
You won't find a better decked out 870.
