Olympic 45 acp upper, which has had the barrel threaded for a Gemtech SOS45 (inch/colt thread, 0.578X 28) and had the barrel turned down under the handguards to match the thinner profile up front (for a substantial weight difference).
Phoenix Flashhider from http://www.thetacticalsolution.com/
(note, there is no flash either way really, since it's 45. It just looks neat, and acts as a thread protector)

A note on the barrel nut. It's hard to tell in the pic, but the barrel nut does not perfectly line with the gastube hole. I don't have the tool to tighten it and it didn't bug me enough to send it back to ADCO, who did the threading.
Upper has about 1500 rounds through it, but no real wear.

Close up of the Phoenix, which can be unscrewed when needed;
Close up of custom threads, useful for a silencer;
Close up view with the upper handguard removed. You can see the edges to see how thick the barrel used to be. This didn't affect accuracy at all.
