I’m doing some cleaning out the safe sale, I’m listing stuff that I haven’t shot in a while and some stuff that just isn’t in line with my collecting interests any longer.
Some of the pictures aren’t fabulous but I think they’re good enough to show the quality of the items (please forgive the background).
I don’t buy junk so these are very nice pieces, please feel free to ask any questions or for pics of something specific.
Please E-Mail me if you are interested in something as opposed to posting here as I will probably list these on more than one site.

Venezuelan FN-49 7mm
This is an outstanding example of this rifle. It’s in the 4800 serial range and has a beautiful cartouche on the buttstock and a script “P” in front of the magazine.
There are no import marks that I have found. It comes with an original muzzle break (unattached) the barrel threads have a muzzle nut attached. The site tower has some slight bluing wear (visible in the pics) as does the side of the bolt. I mention these only so that you get an honest description of the condition. I would estimate the condition @ 97% +/-.
Asking 1000.00 SPF

Persian Mauser 98/29
Unissued and nearly perfect, see the photos for the tigerstripe wood It’s simply beautiful.
Bluing on this is also nearly perfect, some minor wear is noted at the muzzle but that’s it. If you’re not familiar with the Persian rifles do some web surfing and you’ll see that these are the ultimate in Mauser collecting, they show some of the finest machine work you’ll see on any rifle anywhere. The front site on these rifles is a machinist’s work of art and the bluing is still a deep dark blue. I would estimate the condition at 98% +/-.
The sling pictured is not included.
