37MM Custom Launcher, I have a full write up on this, but im at a friends house writing this up and do not have it on this machine. Completely custom in FDE/Black colors. This attaches via ARMS (like) quick disconnects, its not like your normal launcher. It will come with 3 used shells and 9 reloads with instructions.
I have a ridiculous amount of money invested in this item so to be fair im looking for around $500 worth of trades for it.
This is the write up from the AR15 user I bought this from.
This is a custom project I designed and built last year. It is completely custom and is a one of a kind. The project started as RPB all steel launcher which is one of the hardest and most wanted style of 37mm launcher due to the steel tube vs aluminum like the Cobray and Cobray knock off’s out there. I had a master gun smith take the entire unit apart and true up all the dimensions. He straightened the receiver and matched it to the tube perfectly and all took off the factory welds and redid them for extra strength. Next he shorted the barrel and milled back the top rail to look like factory. The edges of the barrel were rounded and the mill work looks better then factory. The top rail was then modified for a more beefer slide stop and a new tube release handle was made. The spring system for the release was changed out to beefer springs for better performance. All of the original top mounting points were removed and I had custom brackets machined and then expertly welded along the top. The brackets hold two A.R.M.S. style quick release brackets inverted which attach to any rail system 9” or longer. These hold very solid with ZERO movement. These are replaceable as well (top rail brackets have threaded screw holes).
After the project was completed the entire unit was stripped down and completely sand blasted to bare steel. The parts were all shipped off to AZEX ARMS (www.azexarms.com) in AZ who do some of the best refinish work I’ve ever seen. I had AZEX use their patented PARKOTE refinish. First they Parkerize in dark gray manganese phosphate. Next Molybdenum disulfide coating is sprayed on (Moly Coat). I had FDE (TAN) done for a unique look. AZEX ARMS guarantee’s that the finish will never flake or peel and will warranty the work.
This launcher has only had 3 shells shoot through it to test it’s function and it works beautifully. It takes all 37mm flares and shells. This is a show stopper and looks bad-ass mounted up to a rail. I had it on a Troy 9.0 with a 10.5" barrel and it was awesome. Just selling all the stuff I don't use much as I need more room in the safe. It is the coolest AR15 item I've built bar none.
I have a total of over $1000 in this launcher and a ton of time in both design and construction.
I forgot to mention the Launcher comes with a new leaf sight. Which was not cheap either.
Im always looking for trades.
