I bought this as NIB back in 1993 while stationed in TX. I never got to shoot it before PCSing to another DS, so I took it apart and left it apart. I just found the thing the other day in a box that I had put away a long time ago. I actually thought it was stolen in one of my many moves over the years.
The receiver is marked:
SABATTI Mod Sporter Made in Italy 22LR
It is basically a 10/22 in the Italian Version. It was imported by European American Armory back in the early 90's. It uses regular Ruger and Ruger aftermarket magazines for the 10/22. The stock is a two piece set. Constructed of a very nice wood. Not that cheap AK crap. It has an 18" heavy bbl and a scope rail was installed at the factory. The bbl has a blue finish, while the receiver has a black park finish to it.
The receiver finish is not as nice as a Ruger, but the wood is 100% perfect and very impressive.
It will have to be put together. I just layed the parts in place for the photo. EVERY PART is present except the magazine. No box and no manual.
Make somone a nice plinker. $145.00 shipped to your FFL.
