I bought this Aimpoint clone from jackyisxcd (AR15.com EE vendor) and only mounted (never fired it) it on my AR15 to try it out. It was never taken to the range (translation: I didn't do any mag dumps with this sight mounted on the AR15).
It was designed for real firearms and not for airsoft. It is in new/like-new condition (fully operational!) and will accept the Aimpoint CR 1/3-N batteries. It comes with two LR44 batteries and the hex wrench along with the 2 flip up covers (which are removable). The low-mount is a "L-shaped" mount that still allows absolute co-witnessing in the upper part of the tube on a M4. I originally wanted to use it on my AR as a scout optic, but I wanted to go a different route instead.
Asking price is $65 shipped. SOLD I will throw in four fresh CR 1/3-N batteries (same ones that you can use in Aimpoints, which also fit this clone).
I accept and prefer PayPal, but I will also accept USPS MO's.
I bought it from jackyisxcd (an AR15.com EE vendor) and only mounted it on my AR15 to try out an "Aimpoint" clone. I don't know who exactly makes it but it has gotten great reviews from AR15.com shooters.
Looking inside the scope using a strong flash light, I can see that the LED assembly is mounted just like any other red dot sight on the market. The power control knob has positive clicks and you may need to use a wrench or socket for the clamp nut. I never used a tool on the clamp nut and only finger tightened it.
