This is a former movie/prop blank gun, with the muzzle internally threaded for a blank adapter plug, which has been removed. She's caliber .30 M1 Carbine and is a "FLAME-THROWER!" She was new when I got her and just needs a little "breaking in", that's all. Right now, she runs 95% for me, but the flaws very well may be from using the after-market 30 rounder that I shot in her. I'd rate her in excellent condition. Iver Johnson apparently used quite a number of M2 Carbine parts in the manufactering of her. She has an M2 slide, bolt, mag catch, sear, trigger housing and the stock is inletted for the M2 Carbine selector switch. It's a legal, semi-auto pistol and was made with all these M2 parts by AMAC/Iver Johnson, so it must have been OK with BATFE, or else they wouldn't have allowed the firm to make the pistol with all these M2 parts if they had a problem with those M2 parts. If you ever want to replace the barrel on her, Gun Parts Corporation has NEW barrels for $14 each, chambered, rifled and threaded for the receiver, but they are in the "white" and need to be blued. She would make a great "host-gun" for someone out there who owns a BATFE-registered M2 Carbine conversion kit to install in it. I'm selling it WITHOUT a magazine, so you can buy a new Sherer 30 rounder or use an "issue" SEY 30 rounder in her, which both of those I understand work just fine. The wood is outstanding, as well as the finish and bore, too...up until you reach the threads, which look to be only threaded down into the muzzle about an inch...from my "guess-timation" She needs to be "papered" and sighted in, too. She comes with a steel ventilated upper handguard. You simply don't see these "rare birds" around anymore. $425 shipped to your FFL. You'll be pleased . Since it's investment-cast manufactured, if anything breaks on her or simply doesn't work to your expectations, simply replace the part in question with a U.S.G.I. part and it'll be just fine after that. But, on the other hand, Ruger Mini-14 rifles are investment cast, as well as the AC556 and they seem to work just fine...so, it should be trouble-free for you.
