I recently converted an Enfield No.4 Mk. I* to a Jungle Carbine format. The donor rifle was an extremely clean SAVAGE lend lease WWII Enfield. The stock, flash hider/bayonet lug is brand new. The barrel is a pristine two groove original Savage made barrel. The receiver is marked "US PROPERTY" in bold letters. I personally did the conversion, and it shoots an incredibly tight group at 100 yards. I am personally responsible for the conversion, and the sights are zeroed and regulated for 100 yards. There is zero rust, pitting, or bluing wear to this rifle. I cut the barrel, and properly crowned it prior to installing the flash hider/bayonet lug assembly. The headspace is perfect. It comes with a original British Military sling, and this rifle is very, very nice. The stock is a new manufactured birch reproduction, and is finished in 10 coats of hand rubbed boiled linseed oil. This is a one of a kind shooter, and not to be mistaken for a worn out No.5 Mk.I, of which are floating around being gobbled up by collectors. I have no problem being held accountable for the accuracy and quality of this conversion. Price is $SOLD shipped, or will trade for a Ruger P95 handgun, 30-30 rifle, or anything that goes bang that is mildly interesting.
