I have a Mike Rock barrel that has been profiled and machined by Chad Dixon at Longrifles. It has been melonited, is 18" long and threaded 1/2x28 for a suppressor. My gunsmith very recently refinished the exterior in Norrell flat black Moly Resin.
I am selling because the Anschutz Match chamber does not play well with my ammunition of choice, CCI Standard Velocity. The leade/throat dimensions make it difficult to close the bolt with this round due to the driving band location. Lapua and Eley close normally. CCI Standard Velocity is my go-to rimfire ammunition, and I have far too much of it to change to another brand. I was not aware that the Anschutz Match chamber had tight dimensions when I purchased this. I just want a replacement that will chamber the CCI freely.
If you have a straight taper factory Sako Varmint barrel, I would be willing to accept that as a partial trade.
