What's the minimum barrel length that fits these?

I spoke to the guys at Samson today (great folks by the way) and they don't really have a minimum barrel length. Given, these were meant to work with the standard 10/22 configuration, however, the length you can cut down to before having any issues is really a matter of making sure the action fits and obviously the barrel extends past the stock. I'm not sure what that exact length is.
