Kit and barrel is now SPF.
Receiver is SOLD, kit still available.
UPDATE: Edited the post to say I will sell the kit and receiver separately.
Hey guys, I'm looking to sell this kit I've had for years now and never got around to building. It's safe to say I've lost interest so I may as well sell it.
It's one of the Russian krinkov 5.45 kits that RGuns sold several years back. The kit is all matching numbers. Looks like it was never fired much (if at all) before being cut up. The finish is in good shape, but has the little scratch here and there like all of these kits had. The kit includes all the parts it came with. The safety is missing in the pics, but it is present and included in the sale. I just forgot to put in in the pics and didn't catch the mistake until I had everything put away haha
RECEIVER IS SOLD - The receiver is one from 74u LLC. This company was pretty much the top dog in the AK receiver world for several years. People would wait 2 years or more to get theirs. The model number of the receiver is DR-AKSU, this is the receiver they built specifically for these kits. The serial number on the receiver does not match the kit.
The barrel is one from Bluejack. I think it was the V3 barrel. The gas port is in a groove with it just barely knicking one of the lands in the rifling. I had the barrel installed and headspaced by Matt Yeamans (turbothis on the forums) a few years ago.
Full disclosure: I have an approved Form 1 for the receiver. But since I never actually built it into an SBR it is not an NFA item and I can easily have it removed from the NFA registry (per Section 6.8 of the NFA Handbook
). So this receiver is not an NFA item and can be transferred by any FFL.
I'm not really sure what this is worth. So I'm putting in on the forums for a few days to see what happens. After that it will go on gunbroker.Asking price for the kit is $1,750. $250 for the receiver (Receiver is SOLD).
Feel free to make an offer. I may consider partial trades (of stuff that will be easy to sell or I could use in my MP5SD project), but the deal will have to be primarily cash. Paypal payment preferred. No extra fees, no need to send it as a gift. Just discreet payment with no mention of what was sold. I will also take a USPS money order or certified check. First person to post "I'll take it" in the thread
will be the buyer.
