I'm looking for some miscellaneous 1911 parts, some of which are out of production. I need these for a couple custom projects.
First is a Wilson Combat beavertail, the old style that does not have a recess for the hammer nor a palmswell. If you have one on a gun and want a more modern looking one, I'll arrange to purchase a new one with that radius (Wilson or Caspian) and trade straight across. I need one or more that are blued, and are not butchered. Fit to a gun is fine, as long as there it's functional (the stirrup is intact and has not been ground off). If the finish is gone, that's fine, but I can't use one with dents or major gouges from improper fitting.
Next on the list would be a flat serrated mainspring housing, not checkered, with a lanyard loop. G.I. or aftermarket is fine, but no Springfield ILS, no arched, no stainless, and no checkered ones.
I'm also looking for a Springfield 1911 slide, 5", carbon steel, .45, like a Mil-Spec. They made a run of slides with front and rear Mil-Spec (15 degree serrations, angle cut) serrations. Ideally, I would like one of these, but a simple Mil-Spec slide would work. Finish is unimportant, as long as the slide is not cut for anything other than stock sights, and is functionally sound.
The last thing I'm looking for is an old style Surefire 1911 pistol light, as in the Classic/610R. I can buy it through Surefire with a discount, but prefer to buy a used one that someone no longer has use for. Beat up is fine, as long as it's functional.
Thanks for looking.
