I have two ProOrd (pre-Bushmaster) Carbon-15s 97S. Both have been test-fired only. They have both been sent to Bushmaster for upgrading internal specifications, and Bushmaster upgraded them without charge! I trust they will support these rifles. When they came back, I fired 60 rounds of Q3131 through each with perfect results.
One of them has a Tasco Optima on it and is $750. Consider the Optima a near-freebe because it died when I tested the rifle and I am not sure if it is a dead battery or if it broke. Anyway, the sight was always hard to adjust and not very bright.
The other is $700 and I lost the removable muzzle brake, but they sell for cheap at Bushmaster.com. I assume they will offer a quick-release flash-suppressor for it soon anyway! So it is almost a bonus you are not buying the muzzle brake now.
As far as which of the two rifles are better -- they are equally nice, and they are nice. Total round count on each is around 300.
