Traded/Sold Again -
This was gone, but the deal fell through at the last minute, so it's back up.
I've got a Colt Lightweight Commander made in 1955 for trade/sale. I took this pistol in about a year ago on trade and don't have any use for it. The slide and all parts are factory Colt nickel....the frame was blue, but somebody in the past had it refinished in nickel. The finish took a more "silver" color on the frame than the more golden Colt nickel. It's a good looking pistol, but I don't want someone thinking the frame is Colt nickel. It's got some minor wear marks and a few specks in the finish up near the rear sight area. It comes with a Colt nickel magazine. The wood grips are the original ones. I've only shot about 50 rounds through it with factory Federal ammo and it worked perfect. (I have no idea of the total round count as the pistol is 50 years old and I've only had it for the last year.) There is no unusual wear however. email for more pics if interested.
I'm looking for trades for a Glock 17 (3rd gen) with some hicaps, a Beretta 92g or Vertec g model in 9mm with hicap mags, a Sig P229 in .40 or who knows, night sights, etc........what do you have??? I'd prefer to sell the pistol as I need to pay some school bills, but the right trade deal could be worked out.
email works best
