I am selling my Browning Stainless stalker in .300 wsm with BOSS system, with a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x40 scope with Boone and Crocket reticle.
This rifle has been babied, and is very accurate. I have about 250 rounds through it, so it is just getting broken in.
This gun has the BOSS system, which allows you to tune you gun to your loads/ammo. It also acts as a muzzlebrake.
It kind of does the same thing as changing the powder load for reloaders to get better groups, but with factory and handloaded ammo.
With the BOSS muzzlebreak, this gun kicks about the same as my 12lb .243. According to the bathroom scale, the empty rig weights 8.4 lbs.
I also have the non-ported boss-cr, if you don’t’ want the muzzlebreak part.
This can be a great long range rig if you want to stretch it’s legs. (which is what I bought it for, just never really got the chance)
Last season I shot a whitetail at 310 offhand, and a few years ago an elk at 230 sitting. This are the only 2 times it has been out in the woods. Other than that, just a handful of times to the range.
It shoots the 180 Hornady Interbond real well in the .5 to .6. (Picture below) It also shoots the 110 Hornady V-Max quite well also. I just shot a .376 MOA Group on 12/26/13 with the 180 Interbonds.
I have 2 internal removable box magazines that I will include.
Here is info on the Boone and Crocket reticle (http://www.boone-crockett.org/news/news_leupold.asp?area=news)
I won't sell the scope until the rifle sells, but I would rather sell them all together.
$1250 obo shipped/insured to your ffl. this shoots jut as good if not better than my custom 6.5 creedmoor.
(removable internal box magazine) (I am including 2)
(60 degree bolt lift)
(.5 MOA Group with 110 vmax)
(.376 MOA Group shot 12/26/13 with 180 interbond)
