Up for sale - a Santa Fe Arms M59 Trooper built on a SA M1 Garand receiver. Very few were built that weren't welded cut receivers - this is one of those built on an original un-cut receiver. The workmanship is very high quality on this rifle, the receiver is a WWII SA Garand receiver - annealled, machined, and re-hardened by Santa Fe Arms. It is .308 (7.62 NATO) caliber. It has the BM-59 style clip latch and clip-loading tab. The balance of the parts are either BM59 parts or altered Garand parts. It has a locking-bar rear sight. The front-end is a long-style flash hider (slotted like an M14). It comes with 1 BM59 magazine. The rifle is beautiful - it looks like new except for a couple tiny dings and scratches on the stock (walnut stock) and a little paint missing on the gas cylinder (it has a Garand gas cylinder, so it would be easy to swap out a later dichromate finished post-war gas cylinder in place of the original painted WWII one that this wears). Priced to sell at $700 plus shipping to your FFL (or FTF in Arkansas or contiguous state). Would consider trades for Colt AR-15 rifles (SP1's, 6920, 6520, or green-label guns - I've got cash to go with my rifle for the right AR).
