"Stay Away Neg1 Wtopace" ?? Wow, that is extremely harsh, considering I have perfect feedback on all trading sites, including Ebay and my Heatware from trading computer components online for many years. Unfortunately the seller became extremely hostile towards me after only a few PM's. I was under the impression it was $50 shipped from his ad (before reading more carefully, which was only after I had clicked "buy"). I apologized multiple times after backing out of the deal and offered to work with him on price even if he really wanted to make the sale. The only problem I had was his extremely stringent "I will only accept Postal MO, and I will force you to pay shipping + insurance on top of my price" attitude. Apparently he either (1) Doesn't sell much online, (2) Doesn't care to keep his online image clean with the use of hostility and somewhat vulgar language, or (3) Goes off the deep end because one person backs out of a deal that was a very high price before shipping, insurance, MO fees, gas for the trip to the post office, etc... was added in. I explained that the post office was far from my house and I might be able to do a personal check, but he refused and said that he only wanted a MO.
I don't believe that I deserve any of this "bad press" and there are loads of people here who can vouch for my integrity as both a seller and a buyer. Unfortunately, hostile people like this make internet trading hard to do... I have had people back out and I simply send them a "Sorry it didn't work out, let me know if you change your mind" PM or email and go on about my rat killin'. Maybe someday people will come here with a passion for guns, ammo, reloading, optics and accessories like myself and not the "I want to make a quick buck and rip people off" attitude. If the mods decide to revoke my trading privileges because of this or ding me in any way I will be extremely disappointed.
For the records I will post his correspondence below (newest on top):
