It has the "C" stamped on the carrier.
The bolt has "MPC" and a white circle stamped on it.

Starting sometime around 1990 Colt cut the back bottom half of the
bolt off so it could clear the sear blocks that they installed in the lower receivers.
This was done to make the guns much harder to convert to full auto.
Colt does not install sear blocks anymore, but still put the shaved bolts
in most of the semi auto guns they sell.
M16 bolts are full circle bolts, as are the earlier SP-1 bolts that came in
semi auto guns before 1990.
As far as I know only Colt makes a shaved bolt,
which is also called half circle.
