Selling my SAC built M2013 in 6.5 Super LR. Put this together to compete, but have been working 6 day work weeks for 2 years with my day off being in the middle of the week, so haven't made it to a single match and won't be able to for at least the next 2 years. This setup is ready to go, just add a scope, load some ammo and go.
It's been to local ranges and out hunting on occasion but I'm finally seeing the light and realizing that the money would be better put to use on something like a motorcycle or a supercharger for my Challenger, something I can enjoy every day.
Every round down the barrel has been logged, has a total of 549 down the pipe. Has not been run hard, and the throat hasn't moved at all since new. It has not disappointed at all, a fantastic rifle through and through.
Bought what I felt was the best of everything when I put it together. This is the first pre-order M2013 to ship, if that matters to anyone.
Specs and included stuff with purchase:
-Badger Ordnance M2013 short action Cerakoted in FDE and Patriot Brown
-Bartlein Whitley Palma gain twist 8.75" to 8" finished at 24" threaded 5/8-24. Chambered in 6.5 Super LR.
-XLR Carbon folding chassis painted in Desert Multicam by Branden at Custom Gun Works, has front QD cup on the left side. (The forend is carbon fiber under the paint)
-CG Xtreme model 22 trigger with safety
-Whidden 2 die set (no bushings included)
-2 AW mags which feed flawlessly, Cerakoted Patriot Brown
-200 pieces of brass, formed from Winchester brand 243, most are 2x fired, some 3x.
-Possum Hollow bore guide.
Rifle shoots less than 0.5 MOA, and I have load data for 136 Scenar-L bullets with H4350, they do 2900 FPS.
Total cost for parts, dies and smithing was $4650. Price for the setup is $3800 shipped with dies and brass and I'll include the chamber reamer. May take a partial trade for a Noveske Gen 3 SPR upper.
An AR will handle all my shooting needs at present.
SAS TOMB mount muzzle device pictured I would prefer to keep but if you have a SAS suppressor and want it, add $100. I do not have a thread protector for this rifle but can ship with one from an AAC-SD. Rifle will ship packaged properly in a plastic case insured.
Sale does not include Premier scope, Spuhr mount or bipod. If you want them we can talk about it.
Any questions just ask, rifle is located in DFW, TX if you want to meet FTF.
Here's my feedback from the old Sniper's Hide, in addition to my feedback here:
Here's the info page on 6.5 Super LR, it's basically a 260 Remington:
It's no more hassle than any factory cartridge, no turning or fireforming. If I decide to build another custom in the future I would do this caliber again.
