The Tactical Ranger won Field & Stream's "Best of the Best" award in 2004. The Tactical Folder is its brother - the Ranger is the Tactical Folder with the false edge removed from the combat blade to provide a more useful utility and hunting blade style.
Both knives are knew in box and will ship free. Pay by paypal, money order, or credit card. Please send me an email at email@example.com if interested.
The larger knife pictured is the Tactical Folder which has a 4.75" blade length and is 5.9" closed - the smaller knife is the T2 Ranger which has a 3.9" blade length and is 4.9" closed. The knivese only weigh 8.4 and and 4.2 oz respectively! The frames, locking liners and pocket clips are built from titanium, making these knives extremely tough, corrosion resistant, and lightweight. Blade material is the new CPM-S3OV high-carbon stainless steel. The handles are hand-shaped black Micarta. The blades are locked with a locking-liner system. The thumbstud provides one handed opening and closing of the blade (blades can be easily "swung open" with the flick of the wrist). All fasteners are stainless steel and the open support-column style back spacers allow easy cleaning after field use. These knives are built in Portland Oregon and are provided with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
The Harsey Tactical Folder was designed to be the ultimate combat folding knife. It has been tested by Rangers, Seals and Special Forces personnel. Those who have tested this product have described it as the best large folding combat knife they have ever seen. The Harsey Sheath System, a $25 value, is packaged with this knife and included in the price shown.
The Harsey T-2 Ranger tactical folder is sized for your pocket and tuff enough to handle any cutting task. This scaled-down version of the Harsey Tactical Folder has all of the extremely strong and great looking design attributes of the bigger knife in a pocket friendly size.
Here is the Harsey T-2 Ranger paired with the CRKT Merlin Professional, which can be purchased for an additional $29. This new product allows the operator to place a folding knife in a variety of carry positions, ready to draw. The rotating sheath body allows the knife to be drawn, locked and ready to employ in less than one second with a single motion.
A wedge system lets the user adjust the sheath's grip on the knife blade to achieve the optimum degree of security and ease of draw for the tactical situation. The knife handle is held in place by wings which expand into the folder's blade channel. The Merlin system is symmetrical and has dual blade channel wings, allowing left or right carry.
Most important for tactical users, a special locator disk allows eight customizable carry angles, so that draws can result in any of the four basic tactical grips: conventional grip, reverse conventional, ice pick, or reverse ice pick grip.
