I have a Ruger 22/45 I bought new last year with the intent of using it to practice inexpensively and later threading the barrel for a suppressor. I haven't had much time to shoot lately, so it's been in the safe and I've put about 100 rounds through it in 2 range trips. Of course right after I bought it Ruger introduced their factory threaded model. My 22/45 is in pretty much perfect shape, 2 magazines, factory scope base, and factory box –– so I'd like to get $215 for it FTF (paid $269+tax at the local Bass Pro). My intent is to turn around and order the newer factory threaded model. Even taking the hit selling this one and paying the difference for the new model I think I'd still save money over having this one threaded locally. I have a 22 suppressor pending at my dealer and am hoping to get my stamp back towards the end of this month, so I'm not in a huge rush. I just don't see the point in paying someone $150 for threading & thread protector when Ruger started offering them that way from the factory and money is tight after the holidays.
I don't have a proper digital camera but I will see if I can borrow one tonight after work to snap a few pics. Like I said, all original accessories & case, very low round count, I'd guess it's in about 95%+ condition. If you're looking for a nice range / practice / kids / training pistol (and don't need a threaded barrel), and are willing to help out a fellow shooter send me an IM or e-mail. Thanks for reading.
