Actually you left out a few parts. You seemed to be in a rush to get this down there, PM'ing me frequently over two days you wanted to get this going asap. It was not that I was not responding, I just did not have as much time as you in front of the computer over those two days. You also wanted me to send the gun down there for you to inspect and pay half to me and half to the FFL when you picked it up. I said no to that. I also told you if you were questioning whether I had actually had the gun, I would take a picture of it with whatever you specified to prove I had it. When I questioned why you would pay the FFL when I was the one selling the gun, you said you wanted to inspect it first. I said I am a private seller and I am not shipping my gun to another state for you to decide if you want it. You asked if I wanted to do an escrow account. I said this was becoming too complicated and I would just sell the gun locally and thanks for your time.
I understand the need to be cautious when spending $1k on anything, but you were paying via Paypal, I was willing to send verification pictures, and you were going to be dealing with an FFL in your area. I did not insist we use the guy I have done business with before. We could have used anyone you chose. I did not care. My nights are running late this week and I explained I would not be able to call you until very late in the evening. You proceed to skip the phone and IM and e-mail me in a very short (approximately two day) period of time.
I wanted to sell the pistol to you or whomever wanted it. But your right, I chose to pull the ad, as you were being, and I have to find a nice way to put this, a little to hyper for me and I did not have the time to deal with your need for attention. I just wrote if off as Internet stuff and went about my day. I would not have complained about you, it just did not work out for us. You did not send any money, I did not send a gun. No harm/no foul the way I saw it and no big deal.
