In Gunny's defense he is just upset that he didn't get the complete lower that I was selling (I'm the seller).
I tried to sell it to the first two people that I got IMs from. The first guy wanted to send me 3 equal monthly payments for it (which I was not interested in) and the second guy found a complete AR in stock somewhere else the day after he said he would buy my complete lower. He asked nicely to back out of the deal. I kindly let him because my inbox was filled with interested buyers. The process took a week or so. I also had many FTF offers within 15 minutes of where I live, so I just took the first one of those that I got and sold it today FTF. FTF sales are a lot more convenient and I at least tried to sell it out of state via FFL (which I have nothing against doing).
That's how things went down. If I ever sell anything in the future, I'll make sure to have people reply to the post rather than send me IMs, so everyone can see what the order is. In this case, even the guy that I sold it FTF to IMed me before Gunny.
I can't blame Gunny in this situation because he wanted the completed lower and as we all know, stock is drying up on AR parts. I think anyone looking to get their hands on new ARs or AR parts are getting a bit "testy" knowing that they may have to wait until next spring to get them.
I hope that clears things up. Lay off on Gunny54. I'm sure he now knows that he should not have said those things in my post.
