Not particularly pretty, but still very accurate: What you are getting is a used (~2K rounds) 16" 1:9 chrome-moly HBAR barrel, with external cosmetic issues. You also get the bolt that's been used with the barrel, to prevent headspacing issues. I'd like to stress again that though externally not very pretty, its bore is in quite good condition. I'm including the barrel, barrel nut, FSB, handguard retainer, and sling mount. You will need to supply your own gas tube hardware, FSP, delta/circlip assembly, and handguards.
I really dislike disappointing people, so I will be as upfront and overly cautious as I can about the nature of the imperfections of this barrel.
-It has some longitudinal grooves on the radius of the barrel, near the front, caused by a cheapie setscrew brake flying off. If you plan to thread after the ban expires, the area of concern will likely be lathed away. There is no damage to the crown or bore. The FSB's also been removed a few times, so the pins are cosmetically imperfect. The rifle it lived on was used as a proper tool; there's scuffing and light scratches on the parkerizing. There's some stubborn carbon buildup on the muzzle; this would be hidden by a muzzle device if you threaded and attached one. The barrel nut shows some rounding and wear, but nothing that would impair the installation or removal.
-The bolt is as what would be expected. Some light face wear and carbon on the rear, but fully functional. The gas rings still have a tight seal, and the extractor is in good condition. I've added a extractor aid (o-ring) to enhance extraction, despite the perfect function.
This would make a good foundation for a trunk gun. Since people's perceptions of damage vary, I'll permit a weeklong evaluation period. If you are not satisfied, simply ship it back to me, and I'll refund the amount you sent.
The price is $115 shipped and insured. I can accept Paypal and Money orders; no extra charge for PP.
