I see in one of my feedback issues a member has had his feelings hurt ( again ) so I am posting this so we can all air it out a bit. We as Moderators have no hard and fast rules regarding how we each handle an issue. The issues are to varied and what works in one does not always work in another, and all of us Mods are as varied in our approach to these feedback issues as the issues themselves are varied and different. One of the most common issues I have in my feedback threads is members posting " post all your commo's " , my approach on almost all welch and feedback issues is to hear both sides out first. We have banned many accused members simply because they answered my email and came in and posted their guilt ( I contact ALL accused members with a link ). In most issues I do not need to see the commo's and if I do I will ask for them. Next one, especially at the beginning of the thread members posting accusations on the accused or posting that they are cheats and liars ect . This happens in some cases before we have even heard from the accused. Calling the accused names and posting "ban the fucker " contributes nothing and makes the accused harder to deal with.
Finally this, in most issues there are things we may know that we have not posted and communications we have that we have not yet revealed , so be patient with the thread , I do not like editing members comments and I don't do it often. I never abandon my feedback threads and work at them diligently so just because I have not posted something does not mean I am not on it.
Members contributing , I will speak only for myself. I greatly appreciate members coming into these threads, sometimes that kind of peer pressure helps bring the issue to a good conclusion. Over the years of my Moderating I have been helped immensely by members and their posts so know this , you guys are all welcome and appreciated. Please feel free to comment. ask questions or let me have it
