As it turns out, I'm absolutely horrible with DA revolvers. So I'm selling off my stock, and I'll just stick with practicing on the .22 S&Ws at the UT campus shooting range until I either learn DA trigger or decide to stick to auto and SAA for the rest of my life.
That being the case, I'm selling my nickel S&W 36. Number inside the crane is 739XX, on the butt AAU45XX.
I "jimmarched" it to the best of my abilities before buying it. Has almost no rotational slack when locked up, and has zero perceptible endshake.
Cosmetically: original grips, fit perfectly, almost no wear aside from a few tiny scuffs on the butt. Nickel finish is in very good shape for a used gun. I've only found a few darker spots: the edges of the fore of the cylinder appear to have some wear, there is some miniscule darkening of the front of the grip, and on the cylinder release. Not positive which of these are wear on the layer of bright, and which are just gunge. Note, this is all going over it with a fine-tooth comb, overall it looks outstanding. Just going for full disclosure here.
Oh, firing pin is on the hammer. Very cool...Link to pic of nickel S&W 36 here!
I'm asking $333, add $25 for shipping if you're not in the Austin area. Will consider trade credit for pistols and .22 rifles in local area. Feel free to write with any questions.
