For sale is a Mossberg 590 Mariner with some field wear and a brand new Mossberg Magazine Spring (strong!) (I still have the packaging from Brownells if interested).
The picture shows her with pistol grip and fore-end grip, but I am putting back on the original factory mossberg buttstock and fore-end, as seen in the picture below (both are in great condition).
Issues: there is field wear on the gun, but she maintains her Mariner status (good for dealing with ocean wind/salt/etc, non-rusting). Gun has issue of sometimes the cartridge not inserting to feedramp 100%, it gets hung up. However, this was with the least expensive ammo I could find, wolf 00 buck. I really think it's the ammo, as I benchmarked this ammo with another Mossberg590 (new from factory) and could only load 7 (instead of 8, mossberg 590s have an 8+1 capacity) into it, only to find it was the ammo, it isn't sized correctly. Or, it might require a magazine stop adjustment (arm that stops incoming shells, then move when gun is racked, just tune by hand). This issue is most likely POOR ammo related
. If you have any questions please post or email me.
Shipping from Philadelphia PA, most likely.
I'm thinking $300 shipped (it's a Mariner with Mari-cote). It has been oiled and clean in my safe for some time. If you have a trade, PM or post and I'll think about it. +/- cash if need be, of course. =)
