I have an original issue Series 70 (70G) 1911 for sale. It was pretty much stock when I first got it, but now it's totally different.
The mod list is as follows:
Wilson Combat grip fitted beavertail grip safety
Wilson Combat bullet proof extractor
Wilson Combat deluxe A-2 sear
Wilson Combat barrel bushiing
Wilson Combat checkered MSH
Wilson Combat thumb safety
Wilson Combat deluxe commander style hammer
GI NM barrel (unknown round count, but still accurate)
Novak wide notch plain rear and plain black front
Chip McCormick adjustable trigger (trigger weight is pretty much stock)
Black Teflon finish
Material removed under the trigger guard to allow higher grip
I'll also throw in 3 Wilson Combat 47D's. I will also throw in a slightly used Galco Armortek Paddle Holster & Fobus Double Mag Pouch.
There are probably some more details I forgot, but I'll add them as I remember them.
I had a local arfcommer (Robbie/roseco/Lone Star Wholesale) do pretty much all the work minus the refinishing and bushing/barrel fitting
I had a local guy refinish it and Charles Heaton (Charles the gunsmith) fitted the barrel and bushing and tuned the extractor. He basically checked out the upper half of the gun to ensure everything was good.It runs 100% with FMJ's and HPs.
The parts and labor put into this gun is somewhere in the neighborhood of around 800 or so dollars. I paid a lot of labor since I didn't want to F this gun up. I have the receipts from the work, but not some of the parts.
I'd like to deal with N.DFW only right now. I'm asking 1100 OBO.
I'll take Paypal+3.5% or USPS MO. I'd rather not deal with a large wad of 100 dollar bills.
The price may seem kind of high, but there is a lot of money into this gun. I'll let the potential buyer/trader put a couple of mags through it so they know what they're getting.
The only trade I'm looking for is a gun to shoot USPSA/IPSC limited. So something double stack and in .40cal like an STI/SVI or Para P16-40 Limited. Limited Glocks are good too. I have cash/guns to even out the trade if need be.
Feel free to email or IM me.
