I'm pulling together money to complete a hot rod project and I'm letting all my C&R stuff go.
First up is my Argentine Ballester Molina. This is an early gun, made in 1938 with an early, four digit serial number. It is a Gendarmeria Nacional pistol with matching numbers on barrel, slide and frame and a small, nicely done import mark on the rit side of the frame.
The pistol was originally parkerized but now wears a very striking green over charcoal grey duracoat finish. The original military sights were removed and a set of larger, higher profile sights were installed by a gunsmith who also did the duracoat and parkerizing. The guns internals were also parked and duracoated. The pistol is in excellent condition, all markings are sharp and clear and the action is tight. The bore is frosted but also in good condition and the gun shoots very well and everything functions perfectly.
I'm having difficulty posting pictures with my iPad and my desktop pc is 10-7, but if you email me directly I'll send additional pictures.
The gun is C&R eligible. $450 shipped in the CONUS. Includes one original Argentine magazine.
