This gun is for a local deal, Phoenix area, at least for now. It's a Colt Gold Cup, Series 80, customized by Ed Brown in the early 90s, with his Maxi-Comp package. There are four non original features. The beavertail has been updated from a Clark to a Wilson, the mag release was replaced with a better one, the mainspring housing was changed from arched to flat, and the grips were changed from Ajax fake mother of pearl to spalted Maple.
It has a Wichita adjustable rear sight, full profile Maxi-Comp compensator, Bar-Sto barrel, serrated top of slide and comp, serrated rear of slide, trigger and reliability job, checkered front strap 20 lines per inch, Videcki trigger, new Wolff springs throughout, swaged mag well, Wilson ambi safety, Pachmayr thumb shield, extended mag release, etc. It has a fairly recent re-blue. It is accurate, very reliable, and has a perfect trigger. Comes with one Wilson mag.
Price is $1000 FTF, or I'll trade for something interesting. I'm taking a rather large loss on this, so if you throw a trade offer out, plaese offer something that has at least this much value. Thanks.
