I have a Bushmaster XM15 Stainless target rifle, A2 configuration that I would like to trade for a Colt Series 70 1911. Barrel professionally threaded by Jim @ PCS, Inc to accept a Bushmaster A2 flash suppressor. Accurate, reliable, and "politically incorrect." I'm not the original owner, so I can't give you a round count, but I would estimate finish at 95%. Bore shines, rifling is sharp. I've owned the weapon for about two years, and put maybe 400 rounds downrange. Only reason I'm looking to trade it is I'm heavy on AR's and I just like the Colt 1911. I'd propose rifle + Otis cleaning kit and two USGI 30rd mags for a NIB new production, or straight trade (rifle and factory mag) for really nice used original series 70 w/mag. If yours is a little rough around the edges, no problem, we can work something out. I'm after reliability and classic styling, not flawless finish. It just has to be a Colt. If yours is a series 80, I may still be interested, holler at me. Would also gladly trade for a JLD PTR-91, but folks seem to be hanging on to those. Would consider trade for the right FAL (DSA, AZEX, or ARS, no Century). FTF trades only, will meet halfway for reasonable driving distance (rifle is located near New Orleans, LA (Northshore area).
