Without the pretty specific adapter you couldn’t use the gun. I see no advantage to going smaller, would also create a bigger shoulder that could make reassembly harder. If it was a normal barrel you could chose, but the 12mm threads On these are just used to hold it together not mount the can on. These are so strange to me how it’s designed lol. I do as many of these as possible , zero risk on my side of things. They are already undersized for 12mm threads so I basically just have to thread over what’s there. Definitely can’t turn them down any to correct any error It’s like threading a .480 diameter barrel 1/2x28 |

Hello good sir,
Got a MCX 16” in 5.56 wanting to be cut in 1/2x28 to be main host for my surefire RC2 Sup. My goal is to mount flush to the rail, so cut is est 10.5-11". What's the best method to indicate where to cut, tape/draw line around barrel? And since I'll be mounting surefire SF3P to it, is tapering still recommended? |

Ok before I send this I figured I would ask. This 45acp encore barrel had a pinned device on the end. In the course of removal barrel was knicked. Think this can be saved without losing length? Now thread pitch question. Can it be threaded 5/8x24. Reason I ask is that I already have a fixed piston adaptor for my tirant suppressor

You did an awesome job on my 21A last year (or so). Thanks. :)
I've got a SIG 556xi that I am considering SBR'ing. I realize that on this particular rifle, I need to SBR it before I have it cut since the upper is the serialized part on these. Are you doing cut, crown and thread on barreled SIG 556 uppers for $150? Would you just want a copy of the approved Form 1 to be included with the upper when sent (along with the prepaid return label)? |

Reminder:
Need a prepaid return label with them, most all my customers use pirateship If you still choose to use stamps it’s fine but need all the stuff filled out etc. I’m not making a to and from label etc, no time. Be aware that using the stamp method I’m not getting involved in any claims etc at all. Stamp method assumes I’d have to fill out forms etc in the event of claim, not happening. Return prepaid label in your name gives you complete control over that process and protects your shipment (and you get tracking etc) I got burned multiple times when I did the return shipping, even got scammed one time I believe as well that’s what lead to the policy change 1.5 years ago. People sending in stuff in envelopes, crammed in a tube with no room so claims definitely would be denied and I’m on the hook. Had people give me wrong return address, had a guy forward his package then claim it was lost. I’m not paying a cent on shipping claims etc, not a penny Once they scan it in I’m done, my part is completely over. Any rare damage or claim that occurs is between you and carrier. People have overwhelmingly loved the change, they use carrier they prefer, insured to the amount they want etc |
