Have you ever worked on a Kel Tec Sub 9?
It's similar to the newer Sub 2000. Interested in getting it threaded. Also, can you extend and thread a CZ Kadet .22 pistol barrel? |
|
|
Can you do the 10/22 takedown? If so what would the price be for a threading, thread protector, and sight relocation? Btw shipping will be to 33026

Have never done a Keltec, but would love to do it. I can do any barrel that can be taken out, and many others I can still do in the action. The pistol should be no problem at all. Send me a pic of each if you would and email me [email protected] Thanks! ![]() |

Then depending on what thread protector you want 15-25 bucks more, then return shipping is 10. Can't relocate the sight on those though, they are pressed in and barrel is tapered. So you would lose the sight or have to get an aftermarket one. |

I've got a 16" BCM middy that I would like to have the threads checked to verify that they are concentric to the bore. Is this something you can do, and if so what would the charge be? Thanks for any info.

Thanks for any info. I would check that free for you if you pull the barrel and bring it over. Or I can pull it and check for cheap. Shoot me an email. We will put it in my lathe, and it will be real obvious if its good or not. Once its dialed in, the threads should look smooth while the lathe spins. If its not good it will look like an egg is spinning. ![]() |

Are you able to thread the barrel of a S&W M&P 15-22? I would like to have you do the following: thread the barrel of my S&W M&P 15-22 to 1/2 x 28 for suppressor use + provide thread protector (blackened if possible) thread my Ruger 10/22 1/2x28 for suppressor use + provide thread protector (stainless is good) maybe add a new front sight to the Ruger since the factory one is going bye bye How much would this cost +/- a new front sight |

Did you send to my arfcom email of my [email protected]? I need to change my arfcom one, I can't answer it unless I am at a real computer. MP. Absolutely can, I can cold blue the thread protector. 50 to thread 20 for matching thread protector. 10/22 That is no problem at all, and yes will be stainless, but unless we find an aftermarket sight it will not have one anymore. I can thread the old sight like in that pic I posted, but you will need peel washer to index it when its in use. 50 to thread, 20 for matching thread protector. Then 10 for return shipping, so 150 out the door. Let me know if you want it done. Thanks Morgan Originally Posted By aklferris:

Hey Morgan, I emailed you some questions about threading a Rem700 but it may be easier to just discuss it here.
My 700 is the model with the 5/8" OD barrel and is chambered in 30-06 sprg, is it possible to add a 5/8 x 24 thread? And if I did would there be enough shoulder to properly mount a suppressor? If instead I decided to get the muzzle threaded with a 1/2 x 28 thread then would there be enough metal left to safely mount the same suppressor? |

I need a hair under 5/8 to thread it that way, .623 to be exact. Is what I do on guns like yours is I thread it 1/2x28 and then make an adaptor 5/8x24. That way when I make the adpator I make a nice size shoulder on it for the can to seat properly. Let me know if you want this done sir. Thanks ![]() |

That sounds perfect, if I send you this brake http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/barrel-parts/muzzle-brakes/muzzle-brake-prod13070.aspx along with the barreled action can you get it fitted up also? (It has to be reamed out to 30 cal). The brake will act like a thread protector when the can isn't in use, so needs to be removable.
If the above is a yes, then please email me all the details on how to get it to you and how to pay. Thanks. |

What might that cost? Thanks. |
