You're right and in the past I've offered options if there was an issue with an order, but in this case with the only other items being a gas block and gas tube (probably for the barrel that was no longer available), it seemed like the obvious solution was to cancel the whole thing.
But that was probably just the easy way and it would have been better to reach out to you with the specific issue and see how you wanted to proceed.
I'll take the time to do that a bit better on future order issues.
