$274 for the 9mm conversion
I have a franken Ak that has been converted to use 9mm Sten mags. Its a very unusual set up. I bought the gun as is and have only taken it out once. I think I put about 30 rounds of winchester through it but the barrel pin snapped. From just eyeing it it appears that the pin was only about 1/8" so I would suggest that it is drilled out to 1/4" or so and a stronger pin installed. This should be as simple as drilling it out and making a new larger pin. The gun is pretty much complete and with a new barrel pin should be fine. It might need a little fine tuning. It seems like A LOT of time was put into building this up. I am not wanting to part with it but I need some cash to funds some other projects. This gun functions with a blow back design. It has a Ar styled mag release, Uses sten mags (I think I have three), Here is a list of some of the components.
Custom front trunnion, mag well, trigger guard, front site & adjustabe rear peep.
USA Made Yugo styled grip (one of mine)
Tapco adjustable stock
The gun did shoot Ok when I took it out however it was very prone to jaming mostly the first few rounds. I have been told this is common for many sten mag conversions. I have been told that only loading 25-30 may improve reliability since the mags are pretty damn tight. I have also been told that a stronger recoil spring would also help possibly using one from a Cetme/G3.SOLD
Next I have a Bulgarian Ak74 built on a ITM receiver. As far as I can tell it was built using a new parts kit. Im also pretty sure its all matching. The parts show very little wear. The gun is a screw build. Im not sure if it could be redone with rivits or not. The receiver is finished with some type of shiney enamal it seems pretty durable but Im pretty certain that it could easily be removed with a lot of common solvents. It has very nice bulgarian wood furniture. I bought it as is and am selling it as is. It seems like it would make a nice shooter.
The compliance parts are
The fire control group 3 parts
receiver 1 part
pistol grip 1 part
As you may already know it is needing one more part in order to use the muzzle break. I also have a set of black Bulgarian handguards & a KVar USA made NATO length buttstock that I would include for a extra $50 this would bring you count to the required 6. Or I can throw in a Tapco piston for $15 which would also bring it to 6 parts. I have never fired this gun but it does seem solid and Im sure if treated right would last for several lifetimes.
I recently sold my camera and the only one I have is my cell phone camera which explains the low quality photos.
Trades Ak related
I am looking for Ak parts kits, Converted Saiga 12 or ?
Nice Ar-15 (can throw in some extra $), FAL, G3 or other military styled rifles but will consider pretty much anything firearm related.
ETA Pic looks like crap it looks much nicer in person
