selling my 2001 new beetle, many new custom parts. lets start with the car itself. 2.0 5 spd., 42k miles, clean carfax. 17" wheels, locking lugs, Bernt guage pod, with VDO guages and matching led bulbs, Caracture rear wing (no drill), TT alum. pedals, euro swith, rear fog, yellow top Optima battery with Hypergrounding under hood, K&N airfilter, Alpine am/fm/cd player, XM commander, amp and Capacitor in trunk, Python car alarm, with keyless and motion detector (one of the best), euro front plate, regular front plate re-located to below, Monster mats, side window deflectors, painted dash trim pieces (guage clusters, center pod, etc.), new rear wheel bearings, fresh tuneup, plugs, fuel filter, cabin filter, fresh diff fluid, brake fluid flushed yearly, etc. , brakes are excellent, have new in box Brembo cross drilled rotors for when the need arises, plus the usual stuff...air cond (recently checked for leaks and re-freshened), power windows, locks, cruise control, much more. body color is silver with black cloth interior. Car has NEVER, EVER been driven in winter, always put away in garage. the undercarriage is clean as a whistle (I can take pics if you want of the chassis), headlights are taken out and mechanisms cleaned at every oil change (so changing a bulb is easy as hell, never frozen headlight buckets). Ok heres the bad (short list)...the rear bumper has been slightly scuffed in a light parking lot touch, the glovebox handle is broken and sometimes comes off if opened the wrong way, but it pops right back in place (i call it my security glovebox, 'cuz anyone that tries to open it, pulls the handle off, but i know how to do it without pulling it off. also the center console latch (the thing that keeps it locked in the closed position) is broken off. again, not an issue unless you flip the console to the upright position (not resting arm on it) and the top opens. thats really about it. overall the car is really great, and does not use a DROP of oil between oil changes (that really means alot on the 2.0). im probably forgetting some stuff, I will email any detailed pics on request. please, no tire kickers, i really want this to go to a good home. I am going to school later this year, and am buying a truck to haul my goodies. so the beetle must be sacrificed to the car sales gods. giveaway price of $9950.00. it really is a very nice car. thanks for looking! car can be driven anywhere without problems, i will deliver within 200 miles of Keene NH 03431 for free (after you prove you want the car and pay, of course) any further than that, and you pay for gas and my time to deliver. or you can fly in to a local airport, and i will pick you up, and send you off in your new car.
