very little rust, no rust threw that i can see, interior needs alittle work(like headlinner and seatcovers) 5.0L 4 speed manual aka S-rod, 3 gears and an overdrive making it a 4 speed O/D trans, has MANY MANY MANY new parts, recepts for most,heres the LONG list, new clutch kit,new clutch cable,new alternator,new flywheel,new starter,new engine mounts and trans mount, new front end swaybar bushings and endlink bushings, the engine is a 302, the stock 2bbl is LONG gone, has a 4bbl intake from about an 85 GT, the carb is a new edelbrock 600cfm i think, but i my exchange it with a holley 4160 650CFM, has k&n filter on it, and newer brakes and new front wheel bearings...
the car has lakewood traction bars, and heddman headers, true dual exhaust all the way back and glasspacks in place of mufflers,
ok the stuff it needs/flaws, it needs a paint job the car is in primer grey right now, 2 of the rims have a shimmy in them and will need to be replaced, but i might go ahead and change them out, it needs a heater core, again i might just change that out, it needs the front seats recovered or just use some seat covers, the trans slips out of O/D and sometimes 3rd but hardly ever out of 3rd, mostly 4th, but i never used O/D anyway so it never bothered me,
the car is a TRUE GT originally had 157HP, but what it's at right now i'm guessing 210HP maybe more, it has been ran at the drag strip, MAJOR traction problems, 2 shimming wheels, and crappy transmission gearing it ran a 15.34@ 88MPH, if it would hook up and have no shimmy in the wheels and a T-5 trans, it's no doubt a high-mid 14 sec car
