There are some pretty cool features with this lower that I like:1.
They finished all of the parting lines in the trigger area, not just cleaned them up a little they friggen polished the thing perfectly smooth
, as with the rear by the pistol grip and the front of the receiver below front pivot pin area.2.
They machined in the "fire" and "safe" on both sides with a CNC, DEEP
so if you go white or red letters this will look trick (I will do one up later and take photos)3.
They machined a "dot" next to the safe and fire (and Non existant full auto spot) this would also look trick with a single dot of red or white. The attention to detail is VERY VERY good on this lower. The forging is Cardinal (normal high quality). I assembled two of these for personal use and put 300 rounds downrange, they function flawlessly using a RRA lower parts kit in one and a DPMS in the other. Oops almost forgot the tip on the point of the selector lines up perfectly with the dot.4.
When I assembled this I noticed the front detent spring hole was deeper than other units, it made the assembly of the front pin a snap, did not even need a tool. I was worried this may not provide enough pressure to retain the front pivot pin, I beat the hell
out of it with a punch to make sure it would stay and was pleased to report it would not come free.5.
Very new firearms manufacture, I have super low serial numbers in the low double digits. They make some high end very expensive prototype molds so they should have an eye for repeatability and precision. And they are two of the nicest brothers running the place you will ever meet!
