[Last Edit: eastTXhunter]
We can offer this price because we have more experience and the best equipment of anyone offering this service. We have industrial machines, not hobby machines. Zero baffle strikes in our career.
We have machines setup, ready for anything that walks in so our setup time is nearly nothing. Most others have to charge a premium because they have one gunsmithing lathe, and most are 36 inches. So takes them much longer than it does us, they likely have to pull the barrels with a lathe that small. Plus many are chambering etc so that one lathe is tied up. We thread and only thread, with an average of 15-20 barrels a day. Email direct is [email protected] http://class3machining.com https://www.facebook.com/barrelthreading https://www.instagram.com/class_3_machining/ 40,000+ Barrels done now and ZERO baffle strikes. Mail in only, zero drop offs now. [Need a return scannable label included now with each. Current prices are 50 to thread just a barrel (not in action, just a plain barrel with no sights on etc). Imperial threads 75 for barreled action, not shortening (trigger etc all out, no scope mount) 75 to cut, crown and thread just a barrel (no sights etc, loose round barrel) . Imperial threads 100 barreled action. /Cut, crown and thread barreled action with no trigger, no scope mount etc 150 cut, crown and thread barreled action with trigger and or scope mount attached. 150 for ak barreled action, MP5, FAL etc if not shortening. 140 Scar cut, crown and thread if bottom rail is removed. 190 plus 15 return ship cut, crown thread scar with bottom rail on. 225 cut, crown and thread ak. 180 cut, crown and thread PTR91/HK types 175 Beretta 21A if its just a barrel. 100 Evo K cut and thread 100 MPX imperial cut and thread 100 thread copperhead MPX 175 MPX metric threading 50 to do a Q/sig taper Lever Actions 100 only threading and receiver is totally stripped 150 cut, crown and thread lever action if stripped (no mag work) We have 60 inch lathes and dedicated jaws setup for a wide variety of things. Have 7 manual lathes here at my shop, and 5 CNC's at my secondary location. Those are the big boy bar fed Mori Seikis etc,. Do OEM supressor mounts for 5 companies now, and we thread for over 50 dealers now. (many on this site ![]() Again, work pics on nearly every reply I do in this thread and many are unique hard to do guns. No just Rem 700 and 10/22's you see on other peoples pages. If we have to disassemble there is a charge of $25 bucks added to cost. ![]() Edit: There are new pics of my work on nearly every post I make in this thread. [/b] Edit: Barreled action is fine. ![]() We only thread on insider diameter and will be concentric to the bore. Turnaround is very fast, will average 2 days before its headed back your way via insured Fedex shipping. (This turnaround time is for threading only, perm attaching flashhider, relocating sights etc, will take additional time). Straight thread jobs are 1-2 days though. If I have to disassemble the gun additional time is needed as well. Two days or less is for a barrel ready to be put in the lathe. This sale is for all normal right hand threads (1/2x28, 5/8x24 etc). We can do all threads, but costs a little more. Can do paypal with no fees added as well. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

If you’re a non FFL and insist on using an FFL to ship there will be a 50 dollar extra surcharge.
They never send instructions, payment, more paperwork, just adds to the time. Doesn’t make any sense doing it like that |

Moving forward it’s best from now on to just include your own return shipping label with your package
Lots of benefits and can be done easily on any of the carriers website. My favorites are pirate ship and ship station, cheaper than anywhere else. 1. You can then pick the carrier you prefer 2. You’ll have tracking already and can choose the speed of return ship service 3. You know what your package is worth better than I do so insurance is correct 4. In the event a claim or problem occurs you can do it much easier This will really make it easier and speed up lead times too. I get guys who hate one carrier, love another etc This fixes everything ![]() |

Thank you. Is a check and return label in the package good for payment? And just out of curiosity for a future project, can a .30 caliber bore with a 0.65" OD safely be threaded to 1/2x28 for use with a silencer mount? It's for a 30-30 so the pressure is a little lower at the muzzle than some cartridges. |

I managed to find another barrel needing some work. It has holes drilled near the muzzle for mounting a front sight. Do they cause any problems for lathe work? I'd like this 308 mauser barrel threaded to 5/8x24. Give me one moment and I'll post pictures.
