Any cut down the corners on their shotgun buttpad for faster shouldering? Did you just use a razor? Might do it on my versamax...

I knocked the toe off the pad of mine with a dremel and a cutoff wheel.

I used a razor to take off a the biggest chunk and then took the sander to them to smooth them out.  If you put the stock on the freezer before sanding you'll end up with a smoother finish.

It was an amazing and cheap improvement.

Here's mine. Cut around a 45 deg angle and that's pretty much all there is to it. All you want to do is knock the sharp point off to keep it from hanging on your shirt as you remount the gun.

ive heard of people putting a coat of clear nail polish on the buttpad to make it slick so it will slide easy. anyone try that?
