In the future that may change.

Coated bullets, especially loaded for minor power factors, seem to be gathering fans.

In USPSA shooting 9mm Major loads I've used Montana Gold 124 gr JHP for several years.

Now that I'm shooting more 3 gun I'm experimenting with 115 gr and 160 gr coated LRN.

So far it seems accuracy with the coated bullets is acceptable and cost per bullet is much lower. Also these bullets need less powder to make the same Power Factor.

FMJ because they are cheap or Hollow points because they are accurate.

Guys that hand load will use lead because it's a lot cheaper than jacketed bullets.

Pretty much this, we use FMJ because it's paid for by the shop.
