Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - where can I get the installer guide for dsc alarms?

I bought a house with an existing DSC alarm system. It is an older one and the alarm company will not give he the installers code.  I bought a new panel of Ebay, but it didn't come with the manuals.

Is there a way to reset the installer's code?

Is there a way to get the install doc?

Dsc's web site has a link to the doc but you have to be registered as an installer to download it.

Depends on the model but most of them can be factory reset by powering down, shorting z1 amd p1 and powering up

You need to be pretty handy or know what you are doing to program one.    With that said I have a couple manuals for most models.  Let us know which one and maybe I can help ya out
