i usually window shop at SKD and OP tactical when i just want to see whats out there, or dont know what im looking for. for instance, say im in the market for a new GP pouch, i would go to either of those and browse the various manufacturers selections to see what fits my needs, instead of going to every manufacturer's website and seeing if they have anything to offer my fancy.

OP and SKD seem to have the most comprehensive selection of manufacturers.

what are similar online sites?

I've always bought my stuff from SKD. Buddy of mine had mixed luck putting together an order from US CAV but I think it was because they needed his credentials for him to order a "SHERIFF" patch and they didn't include that in the email (or he didn't see it).

MILSPEC Monkey online website and youtube channel.

Rainier Arms.

ITS Tactical.

SKD, LA Police Gear, US Cavalry.

Youtube. I'll search youtube a lot. Just put in searches like "Plate Carrier" and do a "By Date" order to the results rather than just relevance. SHOT Show and the NRA Meeting result in a lot of good videos and photos to review.

I'll also search EBAY. Find an item you like and then check the EBAY store.

Then of course there is the gear section here and I think it's valueable to check out the Survival Forum here as well. For helmets the Night Vision gear forum here is great also.
