im looking for reports on spec ops brand mag pouches. looks like you can attach them to just about any type of gear out their. how well do they hold up? im thinking of getting the one that holds for total ar-15 mags. any other imput would be great.

Quality is great, and they have a lifetime warranty. The only thing I did not like is the lack of mag deviders, but some like pouches without. Here's a GREAT alternative:

I like mine just fine...especially since I can get three M14 mags in the X4 model.  They seem to be put together very well.  I also like the side release buckles with the option to use velcro for added security or not use velcro for silent opening.

I like mine.

X2s for carrying two AR mags.  The flap is long enough to allow Magpuls.
X4s can carry AR or M14 mags.
X6s can carry mags, but I use mine for carrying a GSW kit or a pair of Steiner 8x30mm binos.  The X6 can also fit a square 1L Nalgene bottle.

I like mine too. Have held up for 11 months of being in the desert sun everyday. I can fit 3 ar mags w/ magpuls in the X4 pouch.
