here is photo of the battery pack. Three cool things about the PVS 14 A,

1.The better battery cap with the brass lined battery compartment that is seperate from the poser supply card so even if a battery leaks it won't damage the circuit card and it is designed in such a way that it could actually be cleaned. I have reapired DOZENS of battery packs and the once killer is to have a battery pack that had a battery leak.

2. The Wider gain range. You can crank these down to where the unit is almost off extending it's usable range well inot twilight.

3. The stronger Lanyard attachement loops at the back. Also another weak part of the dual battery pack.

Anytime something is done to any unit outside of ITT it will void the warranty. With ITT, mounting the unit to anything other than the PRI M69 mount or USGI flat top weapons mount (ie ring type mounts LaRue GG&G ARMS) all void the warranty.

It will work as my PVS-14 uses a varible gain batt pack.
