i have this 96/22 that shoots damn well.  got it used as my first 22 and i swear, sometimes i think it shoots as well as the T w/ the good stuff!

thinkin heavily about selling it to a friend of mine and getting a .204 or .223 for longer range stuff.  

going up in caliber isn't the question, it's that they don't make the 96/22 anymore and you hardly ever see them for sale...........is it worth keeping, for collecting sake or not so much?

If you like it, keep it.    I have sold more guns that I liked, only to regret the decision than I care to admit...
