will buckshot wear down the rifiling of a rifled barrel ? it would seem that since the barrel and rifiling is made fron hardended steel and the buckshot is cooper coated lead in a plastic sleeve there should not be to much wear.
any thoughts thanks

No, but it will screw up your slug accuracy due to lead deposits on the lands and grooves.  Also can be a bitch to clean the barrel properly afterwards.
